Grand Theatre, Film production, Fashion Show & Celebration Hat Collection. New interpretations of many classical Vintage hat styles of the 20th Century for 2019.

Early Bonnets were worn in the early part of the 19th century and designed for modesty, they were extended at the sides to cover the side view of the face.  Hiding a young ladies face on the street was important for modesty, protection and also this design gave a sense of mystery and allure   The bonnet style hats were decorated with many flowers, feathers, lace, or perhaps embroidered beading.  Ribbon ties knotted under the chin, ending in a bow at the side.

These fine examples of black lace and frills are so nostalgic.
